Abstract:
An electric kettle according to the present invention comprises: a body forming a space for accommodating water; a heater provided on the body and for heating the space; a wireless power reception apparatus for providing power to the heater by receiving a wireless power signal from a wireless power transmission apparatus; a humidity sensor provided in the body so as to be exposed to the space of the body; and a controller for determining whether or not contents are present in the space of the body, on the basis of the humidity measured by means of the humidity sensor.
