Abstract:
Provided is an electric motor (10). The electric motor (10) comprises a motor shaft (11), a stator assembly (14) mounted to the motor shaft (11), a rotor assembly (15) rotating relative to the stator assembly (14), and a first end cap (12) and a second end cap (13) mounted to the motor shaft (11) and capable of rotating relative to the motor shaft (11), wherein a battery compartment (16) is fixedly mounted to the stator assembly (14). The battery compartment (16) comprises an outer wall (161), an inner wall (162), a first end wall (163) and a second end wall (164). An annular accommodation space (165) is formed between the outer wall (161) and the inner wall (162). A battery of the electric motor (10) is placed in the accommodation space (165). The inner wall (162) encloses an accommodation cavity (166). The first end wall (163) is located at a first end of the battery compartment (16) and is connected to the outer wall (161) and the inner wall (162). The second end wall (164) is located at a second end of the battery compartment (16) and forms a bottom wall of the accommodation cavity (166). The second end wall (164) is fixedly mounted to the motor shaft (11). The stator assembly (14) and the rotor assembly (15) are located in the accommodation cavity (166). As a motor power supply battery (167) is mounted inside the electric motor (10), the integration of the electric motor (10) and the motor power supply battery (167) is achieved, thereby saving the space of an electric vehicle and making the overall mechanism of the electric vehicle tend to be integrated in terms of appearance. In addition, also provided are further electric motors (5, 42), and wheels respectively using the two electric motors (5, 42).
