Abstract:
To provide an electric power conversion device capable of suppressing error in output voltage due to deadtime, even if the pulse width of gate signals is narrow. Provided are: a deadtime imparting unit (33) that imparts deadtime to only one of a pair of pulse signals; a current polarity detection unit (34) that detects polarity of an output current; and a gate signal selection unit (35) that selects, when the polarity of the output current is positive, said one pulse signal to which the deadtime has been imparted as a gate signal of positive arms (11a, 12a, 13a) and selects the other pulse signal as a gate signal of negative arms (11b, 12b, 13b), and when the polarity of the output current is negative, selects said one pulse signal to which the deadtime has been imparted as a gate signal of negative arms and selects the other pulse signal as a gate signal of positive arms.
