Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electric power multiplier which enables production costs to be kept low. [Solution] In this electric power multiplier 1, a front housing 61 is provided with an accommodating recess for accommodating a rotary-to-linear-motion conversion mechanism 52, a casing 181 has formed therein through holes 187 which penetrate in the same direction as the depth direction of the accommodating recess, and the casing 181 is mounted to a rear housing 62 using these through holes 187. As a result of this configuration, it is possible to simplify assembly work and keep production costs down. In addition, mounting holes provided to the rear housing 62 for connecting with the front housing 61 and female threaded holes 68A for connecting with the casing 181 are aligned with the axial direction of the master cylinder 2. This makes it possible to simplify the mold structure when integrally molding the rear housing 62 and achieve further reductions in production costs.
