Abstract:
An electric sewing machine (20) includes a sewing machine head (21) and a servomotor (24) connected therewith. The main shaft (23) of the sewing machine in the sewing machine head (21) is connected with a servomotor shaft (33) by a coupling (25). A shaft hole (32) is provided on the servomotor shaft (33) in order to form a hollow shaft, and the main part (101) of the coupling is located through the hollow shaft. Each end of the coupling is respectively connected to the servomotor shaft (33) and the main shaft (23) of the sewing machine by a flange disc (102) and a connecting device (103). The coupling (25) includes the flange disc (102), the main part (101) of the coupling and the connecting device (103). The flange disc (102) is connected to one end of the main part (101) of the coupling, and the other end of the main part (101) of the coupling is connected with the connecting device (103). Because the coupling is installed in the inside of the servomotor, the axial space is shortened, the structure of the electric sewing machine is more compact, and both space and cost are saved.
