Abstract:
The present invention ensures the operability of a switch that is suitable for an electric tool with a brushless motor, while achieving a cost reduction for said switch. An electric tool 1 has: a brushless motor 10; a switch body 31 that enters an ON state due to an ON operation and enters an OFF state due to the ON operation being released; an ON operation part 33 that is for performing the ON operation on the switch body 31; and an ON retaining member 35 that automatically engages with the ON operation part 33 when the ON operation part 33 has been operated, and retains the ON operation part 33 in an operated position.
