Abstract:
An electrical connector provided with multiple internal terminals 12 arranged in a first direction and extending in a second direction, an insulating member 11 having a terminal holding section 13 for holding the internal terminals 12, and an external terminal 16 surrounding the internal terminals 12 when viewed from a third direction, wherein the terminal holding section 13 has an insulating extension part 13d extending in the first direction, the external terminal 16 has an external extension part 16c extending in the first direction while being spaced away from the insulating extension part 13d at least at a portion thereof, an opening 30 extending in the first direction is formed between the insulating extension part 13d and the external extension part 16c, and the state of internal mount parts 12a of the internal terminals 12 can be checked through the opening 30.
