Abstract:
An electrical connector according to an embodiment is provided with a plurality of conductive signal contacts (20), an insulating housing (10), and a conductive shell (30). The plurality of signal contacts (20) are arranged along a first direction of the electrical connector, and held in the housing (10). The shell (30) covers a plurality of outer surfaces other than a surface facing a principal surface of a wiring substrate (2) of the housing (10), and in a second direction that is a direction along the principal surface of the wiring substrate (2) and orthogonal to the first direction, faces, with a gap (85) therebetween, a connection part (20a) connected to the wiring substrate (2) in the outer surface of the housing (10) and the plurality of signal contacts (20).
