Abstract:
The invention proceeds from an electrical contact element (2) for a single- or multi-pole plug housing having at least one contact element accommodation chamber which is composed of electrically insulating material for accommodating the at least one electrical contact element (2). The electrical contact element (2) has a fastening section (4) for fastening an electrical line. The electrical contact element (2) has a contact section (6) for establishing an electrically conductive connection with a corresponding mating contact element. The electrical contact element (2) has at least one latching lance (14), wherein the latching lance (14) can be moved from a first position to a second position and vice versa. The latching lance (14) projects obliquely outwards in the first position. The latching lance (14) latches with the contact element accommodation chamber in the first position when the electrical contact element (2) is arranged in a predetermined position in the contact element accommodation chamber. According to the invention, the latching lance (14) also has a first locking element (22). The electrical contact element has a second locking element (24) which corresponds to the first locking element (22), wherein, in the first position, the first locking element (22) and the second locking element (24) are connected to one another on account of a force (F) which acts on the latching lance (14) against a pull-out direction (A) of the electrical contact element (2) out of the contact element accommodation chamber.
