Abstract:
A lock mechanism (70) which can lock and unlock the rotation of the rotor shaft (33a) of an electric motor (30) is constituted by: a plurality of engagement sections provided on one side of one of a plurality of gears (43) which constitute a gear reduction mechanism (40); a lock pin (72) provided so as to be capable of being moved forward and backward relative to the engagement sections, the lock pin (72) engaging with an engagement section when moved forward, thereby locking the gear (43); and a linear solenoid (73) for moving the lock pin (72) forward and backward. The engagement sections are formed as recesses (71) and prevent the entry of grease to prevent the grease from being sucked into the linear solenoid (73). One end surface of each of the recesses (71) is extended to form a protrusion (74), thereby increasing the amount of engagement of the lock pin (72). This enables the gear (43) to be formed of sintered metal and reduces cost.
