Abstract:
The purpose is to provide an electrode catalyst layer, a membrane electrode assembly, and a solid polymer-type fuel cell that, by suppressing the occurrence of cracks in the electrode catalyst layer, can suppress a decrease in durability of the membrane electrode assembly, and suppress a decrease in the power generation performance of the solid polymer-type fuel cell. These electrode catalyst layers (1, 2) according to a mode of the present disclosure are electrode catalyst layers that include at least a catalyst material (6), carbon particles (5) that carry the catalyst material (6), a high polymer electrolyte aggregate (7), and a high polymer electrolyte fiber (8), wherein in the electrode catalyst layers (1, 2), the amount of phosphorous (P) and the amount of platinum (Pt) obtained with elemental analysis using energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX) satisfy expression (1). 0
