Abstract:
This positive electrode (10) comprises an active-material-holding member (11) that extends in a first direction and that has a plurality of cylindrical members (12) formed by a substrate (13) being wound at least once. The cylindrical members (12) are aligned in a second direction and each have a proximate part (13c) proximate to an adjacent cylindrical member (12) in the second direction. In at least one of the plurality of cylindrical members (12), the loop height (LH) of the substrate (13) is equal to or less than the first-direction length of an inserted portion of a first sealing part (51) inserted into the cylindrical member (12). When the cylindrical members (12) are viewed from a third direction such that a winding end part of the substrate (13) is visible, the loop height (LH) is the first-direction length of a substrate end part surface (13f) in the proximate part (13c), where the substrate end part surface (13f) is a portion of the substrate (13) extending in the winding direction of the substrate (13) from the proximate part (13c) to the winding end part (13d).
