Abstract:
An electrolyte solution for electrochemical devices, said electrolyte solution containing cations (C) that are monovalent to trivalent metal ions, anions (A), a solvent (SO) that is a compound having a molecular weight of 1,000 or less, and a soluble polymer (P) having a mass average molecular weight of more than 10,000, wherein relative to 1 mole of the cations (C), the content ratio of the solvent (SO) is from 0.5 to 4 moles and the content ratio of the polymer (P) is 0.5% by mass or more. The present invention also provides: a thermoplastic composition, an electrode sheet, an insulating layer and an electrochemical device, each of which contains this electrolyte solution; and production methods thereof.
