Abstract:
The invention relates to an electromagnet (10) for adjusting an actuating member having a coil unit (12) that can be energized, an armature unit (18) displaceable by means of the coil unit (12) between two end positions (14) and operationally connected to the actuating member, and at least one spring unit (20) for returning the armature unit (18) and an associated crash box system for a motor vehicle having such an electromagnet (10). According to the invention, the armature unit (18) is displaceable by means of the at least one spring unit (20) in an initial position (30) between the two end positions (14).
