Abstract:
An electromagnetic brake control device which controls a non-excitation operation type electromagnetic brake comprising: an output terminal for connecting the electromagnetic brake; and, a brake control unit which outputs a brake control signal supplied to the electromagnetic brake via the output terminal, in which, if both a normal brake command and a safety brake command are turned on, said brake control unit outputs a brake control signal for releasing the electromagnetic brake, and if at least one of the normal brake command and the safety brake command are turned off, said brake control unit outputs a brake control signal for engaging the electromagnetic brake. By means of the aforementioned configuration, an electromagnetic brake control device is provided which can execute any of a safety control and a normal control on an electromagnetic brake which is connected to an output terminal.
