Abstract:
Provided are an electromagnetic valve and a brake device, which are capable of reducing friction between a plunger and a valve sheet. The electromagnetic valve is provided with: a solenoid (48) which generates an electromagnetic force when electrical current is passed therethrough; a tubular member (40) which is at least partially disposed in the solenoid and which is formed from a nonmagnetic material; a movable member (41) which is formed from a magnetic material, which moves, inside the tubular member, in the axis direction of the electromagnetic valve by an attraction force of the solenoid, and which has a restriction portion at one end side, of a movable portion, in the axis direction; and a plunger (42) which has one end positioned on the one end side in the axis direction and the other end positioned on the other end side in the axis direction, and movement of which in a radial direction is restricted as a result of the other end being arranged at the restriction portion. When the radially movable amount of the movable member inside the tubular member and the radially movable amount of the plunger with respect to the restriction portion are defined as CLa and CLb, respectively, the expression CLa
