Abstract:
This electron capture detector (100) is a device for detecting a sample (α1). The electron capture detector (100) comprises a detection cell (1), sample introduction part (2), and electron emission element (20). A reaction chamber (6) is formed in the detection cell (1). The sample introduction part (2) introduces a first carrier gas including the sample (α1) into the reaction chamber (6). The electron emission element (20) emits electrons (β) into the reaction chamber (6). Ions (α2) derived from a sample component are generated by the electron emission element (20) emitting the electrons (β) into the reaction chamber (6).
