Abstract:
According to the present invention, a photoelectron multiplier unit (1) comprises: a photoelectron multiplier (11) in which a photoelectric surface (21) for emitting photoelectrons in response to incident light, and a positive electrode (24) for generating a signal based on the photoelectrons are accommodated in an internal space S of a valve (12); and a correction light source unit (42) having a light source (44) that outputs correction light L to the photoelectron multiplier (11). The valve (12) comprises: a light incident window unit (13) located on the photoelectric surface (12) side; a signal output unit (14) located on the positive electrode (24) side; and a side wall unit (15) for connecting the light incident window unit (13) and the signal output unit (14). The correction light source unit (42) is disposed closer to the signal output unit (14) than the light incident window unit (13). The correction light L from the correction light source unit (42) is guided to the photoelectric surface (21) through a light guiding path (43) provided in a region outside the internal space S.
