Abstract:
Disclosed are an electronic cigarette capable of controlling the dose, and a control method therefor. The electronic cigarette comprises a housing (1), a liquid storage cavity (2), an atomization device (3), a battery (4), an airflow sensor (5) and a control circuit (6), wherein the control circuit (6) comprises a microcontroller, a power control unit, a timing unit, an energy statistics and conversion unit, and an indicating unit. The microcontroller is internally provided with a preset parameter comprising a preset dose threshold value. When the electronic cigarette is vaped, as soon as the airflow sensor (5) senses a suction airflow, the power control unit turns on a power switch to supply power to a heating unit (31); at the same time, the timing unit starts timing, the power control unit measures the power of the heating unit (31), the energy statistics and conversion unit calculates the consumed electric energy and converts same into an e-liquid consumption dose; and when the e-liquid consumption dose reaches the preset dose threshold value, the indicating unit sends a prompt of a sound, light or vibrations. The beneficial effect of the present invention is giving a prompt to and preventing, by means of quantifying and controlling the dose of vapor sucked by a user, the user from inhaling too much vapor once or within a unit time.
