Abstract:
The present invention provides an electronic control device and a vehicle control system with which it is possible to respond to increases in communication load due to an increase of monitored objects, and increases in processing load when acquiring vicinity-monitoring information. The electronic control device 110 according to the present invention comprises a scene prediction unit 111 and a filtering unit 112 mounted in a vehicle V. The scene prediction unit 111 predicts a driving scene that the vehicle V will encounter, on the basis of information regarding the position of the vehicle V, information regarding a map of the vicinity of the vehicle V, and the route over which the vehicle V will travel. On the basis of the driving scene, the results of recognizing a plurality of objects in the vicinity of the vehicle V, and risk information specified by the risk index for each type of driving scene and object recognition result, the filtering unit 112 derives a risk index for each object recognition result. Furthermore, the filtering unit 112 selectively admits the object recognition result for which the risk index exceeds a specified value.
