Title:
ELECTRONIC DEVICE BEAMFORMING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/045380
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
According to various embodiments, an electronic device can comprise an antenna module, a memory, and at least one processor configured to: check a first beam book, which is stored in the memory and corresponds to a first carrier frequency, in response to the modulation of a signal for transmission by the first carrier frequency, the first beam book including information related to a first phase value corresponding to each antenna element included in the antenna module; perform beamforming through the antenna module on the basis of the checked first beam book; check a second beam book, which corresponds to a second carrier frequency that is different from the first carrier frequency, in response to the modulation of the signal for transmission by the second carrier frequency, the second beam book including information related to a second phase value corresponding to the each antenna element, and the second phase value being a value compensated for by the first phase value on the basis of the second carrier frequency; and perform beamforming through the antenna module on the basis of the checked second beam book. Other various embodiments are possible.
