Abstract:
An electronic device, a charging base and a charging method. The electronic device (300) comprises: a power receiving port (301), a first photoelectric module (303) and a first processing module (302). The power receiving port (301) is connected to a charging port (311) of a charging base (310) and is used to receive charging power from the charging base (310); the first processing module (302) is used to generate a charging instruction; to generate a first light emission control signal according to the charging instruction; the first light emission control signal being used to indicate a first target light emission parameter; to send the first light emission control signal to the first photoelectric module (303); and the first photoelectric module (303) receives the first light emission control signal and emits a first optical signal according to the first target light emission parameter, the first optical signal being transmitted to the charging base (310) and being used to indicate the charging instruction. The method realizes a quick charging function of an electronic device without adding an additional electrical connection terminal to the electronic device, and realizes communication between operating parameters of an adapter and a charging protocol by transmitting and detecting an optical signal, thereby finally realizing the quick charging function.
