Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electronic device, which receives a broadcasting signal of any one channel from among a plurality of channels, displays a content image on the basis of the received broadcasting signal, identifies, on the basis of a change in video characteristics defined in response to the type of content, the point at which the content is switched from the first content to the second content that differs from the first content in type, and can perform an operation related to the second content on the basis of the identified point.
