Abstract:
An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device comprises a communication interface, a memory, and a processor. The processor according to the present disclosure: acquires weather information and information about a space in which an air conditioner is installed; learns a neural network model on the basis of the weather information and the information about the space; when operation information of the air conditioner and measured temperature of the space are acquired through the communication interface, inputs the external temperature and the measured temperature of the space into the neural network model so as to obtain time-specific predicted temperature information for the space; determines whether the air conditioner has a defect, on the basis of the predicted temperature information and the measured temperature of the space; and if the air conditioner has a defect, generates a notification signal.
