Abstract:
An electronic device comprises: a first housing; a second housing for accommodating the first housing so as to be slidable; a flexible display connected to the first housing; a slide drive unit that slides to move the first housing; and at least one processor. The at least one processor identifies a contracted state in which the flexible display slides in the contraction direction or an expanded state in which the flexible display slides in the expansion direction; in the contracted state, identifies a first edge area of the flexible display as a first input area, and causes the flexible display to switch to the expanded state on the basis of an input through the first input area; in the expanded state, identifies a second edge area of the flexible display as a second input area, and causes the flexible display to switch to the contracted state on the basis of reception of a second input through the second input area.
