Abstract:
Disclosed by the present application is an electronic device, comprising a display component, a photosensitive sensing component and a processor. The display component is stacked on a substrate layer, the display component includes a plurality of pixel points arranged in an array, and the photosensitive sensing component is configured to sense the illuminance generated by a corresponding pixel point in the display component and generate a sensing signal, and the processor determines the the illuminance of the corresponding pixel point according to the sensing signal, and performs luminance compensation on the corresponding pixel point when it is determined that the illuminance of the corresponding pixel point is lower than a preset threshold. Further disclosed by the present application is a luminance monitoring and compensation method. According to the present application, the illuminance generated by the corresponding pixel point in the display component is sensed by the photosensitive sensing component and luminance compensation is performed on the corresponding pixel point when it is determined that the illuminance of the corresponding pixel point is lower than a preset threshold, thereby maintaining the display uniformity of the display component.
