Abstract:

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: a connector comprising a plurality of terminals; a circuit electrically connected to at least a part of the plurality of terminals; and a processor electrically connected to the circuit, wherein the processor can be configured so as to sense, on the basis of an electrical signal inputted through at least one terminal among the plurality of terminals of the connector, a connection direction of an external device connected through the connector, and to supply, on the basis of the sensed direction of the external device, a microphone bias voltage to a first terminal and/or a second terminal of the connector, the terminal being electrically connected to a microphone terminal of the external device.
