Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device capable of diagnosing a battery, the electronic device comprising: a battery; and a power management module which is operatively connected to the battery and which includes a charging circuit for controlling the charging of the battery, wherein the power management module monitors the charging state of the battery, checks the time required to change from a first designated state to a second designated state when the battery reaches the first designated state, and can determine whether the battery is abnormal, on the basis of at least a part of the checked time. Additional various embodiments are possible.
