Abstract:
Various embodiments provide a method and a device for providing a mobile identify document by using an electronic device. An electronic device according to various embodiments may comprise a communication module, a memory, a display module, and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: execute an application for a mobile identify document service; acquire identify document information on the basis of a user input; display the identify document information through the display module; acquire an image for an identification photo for a mobile identify document in response to a photo update request; perform face matching on the basis of the image; according to a result of the face matching, transmit, to a server through the communication module, a message for requesting to issue the mobile identify document on the basis of the image; receive, from the server, the mobile identify document including the identification photo corresponding to the image through the communication module; and store the mobile identify document in a secure area of the memory. Various embodiments are possible.
