An electronic device and a power supply unit therefor, which belong to the technical field of electronic engineering. The power supply unit comprises two half-bridge resonant topological circuits and two balance coils, wherein input ends of the two half-bridge resonant topological circuits are respectively connected to two ends of an alternating-current input, and output ends of the two half-bridge resonant topological circuits are respectively connected to two ends of a direct-current load; the two balance coils are respectively wound on primary sides or secondary sides of the two half-bridge resonant topological circuits; and the two balance coils have an equal number of turns, and the two balance coils are connected in a head-to-tail manner. The two balance coils respectively achieve, in transformers of the half-bridge resonant topological circuits, the function of balancing currents in a winding manner and by means of parallel current sharing, such that no extra space needs to be occupied, no complicated circuit control is involved, and a good current sharing effect can be realized by using the basic principles of physics. Since only passive assembly characteristics are used, errors are not prone to occurring, and the characteristic of good reliability is provided.
