Abstract:
Disclosed are a wearable device and a method for same. The wearable device comprises a memory, a housing, a photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor, and a processor. The processor may: obtain a PPG signal through the PPG sensor; obtain blood pressure values for a plurality of consecutive time intervals on the basis of characteristic information about the obtained PPG signal; after an exercise start event occurs, generate, in response to the occurrence of an exercise end event, an exercise parameter determination model on the basis of blood pressure characteristic information obtained from blood pressure values after the exercise end event occurs; and display, through a display, information obtained on the basis of the generated exercise parameter determination model. Various other embodiments identified by the specification are also possible.
