Abstract:

An electronic device, a system, and a control method thereof are disclosed. An electronic device for performing voice recognition performs the steps of: receiving an input of an utterance; analyzing the input utterance to determine whether domain information and intention information can be extracted; when at least one of the domain information and the intention information is not extracted, broadcasting a signal requesting information related to a previous utterance to at least one external device connected to the same network as that connected to the electronic device; receiving the information related to the previous utterance from the at least one external device; extracting the domain information and the intention information on the basis of the received information related to the previous utterance and the input utterance; and obtaining and outputting a response result on the basis of the extracted domain information and intention information.
