Abstract:
An electronic device according to the present invention is capable of executing ocular contact sensing for sensing ocular contact with an eye piece and sight line detection for detecting a sight line of a user. The electronic device is provided with: an ocular contact sensing sensor that receives light for the ocular contact sensing; a sight line detection sensor that is provided separately from the ocular contact detection sensor to receive light for the sight line detection; and one or more light sources including a light source used for both the ocular contact sensing and the sight line detection.
