Abstract:
[Problem] To implement fingerprint authentication during a swipe operation on a display. [Solution] This electronic instrument is provided with a display, and an optical fingerprint sensor. The display is provided with a display screen including light emitting pixels in an array in a first direction and a direction intersecting the first direction. The optical fingerprint sensor is provided with an image capturing element including light receiving elements in an array in the first direction and the second direction, on the opposite side of the display to the display screen in a third direction intersecting the first direction and the second direction, wherein each of the light receiving elements transfers electric charge that has been photoelectrically converted with the same timing.
