Abstract:
This seal-affixation system comprises an electronic seal and an information processing apparatus that has a touch panel. The electronic seal comprises a controller, a detection control element that can variously change detection results obtained by the touch panel, and a storage unit that stores image data representing a seal, and an electronic certificate for the image data. When pre-determined starting conditions are fulfilled, the controller changes the state of the detection control element on the basis of the result from encoding the image data and the electronic certificate stored in the storage unit. The information processing apparatus acquires the image data and the electronic certificate on the basis of a detection result from the touch panel that accompanies a change in the state of the detection control element, and authenticates the image data on the basis of the electronic certificate.
