Abstract:
In order to provide an element analysis device that, with a simple mechanism, can prevent suction from occurring and dust from spreading within a heating furnace when the heating furnace is opened, this element analysis device 100, which comprises a heating furnace 3 heating a crucible MP that has a sample therein and vaporizing the sample to generate a sample gas, is configured such that the heating furnace 3 comprises a first electrode 31, a second electrode 32 that is configured so as to be able to move, within an interior space, between a furnace-closed position where the crucible MP is sandwiched between the first electrode 31 and the second electrode 32 and a furnace-open position that is a prescribed distance away from the furnace-closed position, a drive mechanism 34 that causes the second electrode 32 to move between the furnace-closed position and the furnace-open position, a dust suction channel DL that is provided with a dust suction opening DP opening within the heating furnace 3 and suctioning dust, and an ejector 37 that is provided with a suction port VP connected to the heating furnace 3 side in the dust suction channel DL, an ejection port EP connected to the exhaust side in the dust suction channel DL, and a drive port AP to which a working fluid is supplied, and when the drive mechanism 34 causes the second electrode 32 to move from the furnace-closed position to the furnace-open position, the working fluid flows into the ejector 37 from the drive port AP of the ejector 37.
