Abstract:
Provided is an elevator device wherein an elevator car is suspended by a suspension body and is moved vertically within a hoistway. A support beam is provided within the hoistway. An upward return sheave device having an upward return sheave is provided directly below the support beam. The suspension body is wrapped about the upward return sheave. Both sides of the portion of the suspension body, which is in contact with the upward return sheave, are led upward from the upward return sheave. A control board is disposed between the support beam and the upward return sheave device.
