Abstract:
Provided is an elevator device which enables noises from a ventilation space to be sufficiently suppressed even in the case of a car that moves vertically at a higher speed. This elevator device is equipped with a car which moves vertically in a hoistway, the car being provided with a ventilation space (8) allowing communication between the inside and outside of the car. This elevator device is equipped with a ventilation space closing device (7) which has elastic-deformation portions (11, 12) that deform elastically under the pressure of wind that occurs when the car is traveling, and which operates so that the ventilation space (8) is closed by virtue of the elastic deformation of the elastic-deformation portions (11, 12).
