Abstract:
Described is a method for evacuating an elevator car (5) of an elevator installation (1), the elevator installation comprising: an elevator car (5), which is movably received in an elevator shaft (4), a vertical track (2VL, 2VR, 2H) and a horizontal track (2H) each with guide rails (22V, 22H), at least one transfer arrangement (3) which is designed to transfer the elevator car from the vertical track to the horizontal track, wherein in an evacuation situation the elevator car (5) is arranged in the horizontal track (22H) such that the car is incapable of travel; the method comprising the following method steps: During the evacuation situation, evacuating the passengers from the elevator car (5) via an evacuation route (E) from the elevator car (5) to an evacuation shaft door (25E), the evacuation shaft door (25) being arranged on the vertical track (2VL, 2VR).
