Abstract:
The present invention relates to an embroidery machine arranged so as to maintain a given feeling of tension even in the x-axis direction of a supplied fabric of one width, up until embroidery work has been completed on the fabric. In the present invention: LM guides (41) and (42) and a ball screw (43) connected with a motor (44) are provided connectedly on a substantially square support frame (10) in such a way as to displace and move a moving body (40) in the y-axis direction; and LM guides (61) and (62) and a ball screw (63) connected with a motor (64) are provided connectedly on the moving body (40) in such a way as to displace and move a sewing-machine element (60) in the x-axis direction; and left and right holders (70) and (80) extending from front to back are provided connectedly on both sides of the support frame (10); and the left and right holders (70) and (80) hold and pull a fabric of about a width supplied into the support frame (10) and impart a feeling of tension in the x-axis direction, in such a way that the embroidery work is carried out by means of the y-axis direction displacement movement of the moving body (40) from the support frame (10) and the x-axis direction displacement movement of the sewing-machine element (60) from the moving body (40) and in such a way that the feeling of tension imparted in the x-axis direction of the fabric through the left and right holders (70) and (80) can be maintained up until the embroidery work has been completed on the fabric of about a width supplied to the support frame (10), and thus not only is productivity increased but also quality can be improved by preventing deformation of the embroidered pattern due to factors such as changes in the feeling of tension in the fabric.
