Abstract:
This endoscope and image acquisition method, on the basis of a time (wa) from when illumination light from a first light source begins to be emitted to when the amount of illumination light is stable, and a time (wb) from when projection light from a second light source begins to be emitted to when the amount of projection light is stable, triggers either an illumination part or a fringe projection part first according to whichever has the longer time for the amount of light to become stable, and acquires a first image of an object to be examined by an imaging part, and triggers either the illumination part or the fringe projection part according to whichever has the shorter time for the amount of light to become stable, and acquires a second image of the object to be examined after the first image has been acquired.
