Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope system with which, when switching display between a plurality of observation images, can display so as to make it possible to discern differences in information other than the background mucous membrane. At least two images—a first observation image for display and a second observation image for display displaying the same observation target—are automatically switched between on a monitor (18) for a display period of at least two frames. First spectroscopic information of the first observation image for display and second spectroscopic information of the second observation image for display are different from one another. At least part of the background mucous membrane is the same hue in the first observation image for display and the second observation image for display.
