Abstract:
Disclosed are an energy storage system and method for co-producing hydrogen and urea, comprising a renewable energy power supply, an electrolytic hydrogen production apparatus, a hydrogen storage tank, an oxygen storage tank, a synthetic ammonia reactor, an air separation apparatus, and a urea synthesis reactor. An input end of the electrolytic hydrogen production apparatus is supplied with water, an oxygen output end is connected to the oxygen storage tank, a hydrogen output end is connected to the hydrogen storage tank, an output end of the hydrogen storage tank is connected to a hydrogen inlet of the synthetic ammonia reactor, an input end of the air separation apparatus is supplied with air, an oxygen output end is connected to the oxygen storage tank, a nitrogen output end is connected to a nitrogen inlet of the synthetic ammonia reactor, an ammonia output end of the synthetic ammonia reactor is connected to an ammonia inlet of the urea synthesis reactor, and the urea synthesis reactor is further provided with a flue gas inlet for supplying flue gas; and the electrolytic hydrogen production apparatus and the synthetic ammonia reactor are powered by means of the renewable energy power supply.
