Abstract:
A diesel engine 5 is provided with an inlet-side bracket body 176 and an outlet-side bracket body 177 as housing supports for supportably securing an exhaust gas purification device 52 (a gas purification housing 168). The inlet-side bracket body 176 and the outlet-side bracket body 177 are formed so as to be wide in a direction intersecting an output shaft 53 of the diesel engine 5. The inlet-side bracket body 176 and the outlet-side bracket body 177 are detachably linked to a cylinder head 55 of the diesel engine 5, either directly or with an intake manifold 56 and an exhaust manifold 57 interposed therebetween.
