Abstract:
The present invention relates to an engine for a vehicle and, more particularly, to an engine for a vehicle, wherein the engine is provided with a water pump that is connected to a balance shaft and moves together with the balance shaft when the balance shaft rotates. To this end, the present invention provides an engine for a vehicle, the engine comprising: at least one piston; a crank shaft which converts a vertically linear reciprocating motion of the at least one piston into a rotating motion; at least one connecting rod which is formed corresponding to the at least one piston, and connects the at least one piston and the crank shaft; and a balance shaft which is disposed spaced apart from the crank shaft and is rotated by the crank shaft, wherein the engine is provided with a water pump that is connected to the balance shaft and moves together with the balance shaft when the balance shaft rotates.
