Abstract:
Provided are an enhanced reaction system and process for preparing acetic acid by means of the carbonylation of methanol, and the present invention belongs to the technical field of the preparation of acetic acid. The enhanced reaction system comprises a feeding unit for storing and transporting carbon oxide and methanol; a carbonylation reaction kettle with a microinterface generator provided therein, with the carbonylation reaction kettle being connected to the feeding unit and serving as a site for a carbonylation reaction; and the microinterface generator, wherein same is used for breaking bubbles of the carbon oxide into micro-bubbles with a diameter on the micron scale before the carbonylation reaction, so as to increase the mass transfer area of the phase interface between the carbon oxide and the methanol during the progress of the carbonylation reaction, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the carbonylation reaction. The enhanced reaction system and process for preparing acetic acid by means of the carbonylation of methanol, as provided by the present invention, solve the problem of the reaction efficiency of a system being reduced due to the fact that carbon oxide and methanol cannot be sufficiently mixed inside a carbonylation reaction kettle in the prior art.
