Abstract:

[Problem] To provide an enteric composition in which it is possible to control the disintegration time so as to allow the enteric composition to disintegrate and allow the contents thereof to be released in the small intestine or the large intestine, particularly the large intestine, the enteric composition being suitable for addition to a food/beverage item such as yogurt. [Solution] An enteric composition in which contents obtained by mixing probiotic bacteria and an edible hydrogenated oil emulsion are coated with an enteric coating agent.
