Abstract:
Provided in the present application are an error correction method and an error correction apparatus, relating to the technical field of communication, and being capable of reducing DFE bit error rate and improving equalising performance, the method comprising: acquiring a decision signal of a decision feedback equaliser DFE; acquiring at least one signal amongst an input signal, an equalised output signal, and a difference of the DFE, the difference being the difference between the power level of the decision signal and the power level of the equalised output signal; on the basis of the detection of at least one signal amongst the decision signal, the equalised output signal, and the difference, determining a symbol position where the burst error of the decision signal ends; and, when detecting the symbol position, on the basis of at least one signal amongst the input signal, the equalised output signal, and the difference, performing error correction on the decision signal.
