Abstract:
An escapement system for a timepiece movement intended to produce a tourbillon without a cage that retains the advantages of the escapement of A.H. Benoit and eliminates the basic fault of same. In this new escapement, the release is carried out by a trigger mechanism (2, 3) armed by the escapement wheel (1) at the end of the pulse. The release takes place, depending on the adjustment of the connecting part (8) of the trigger spring (3), when the spiral spring (5) of the balance (6) is disarmed or just afterwards, at the time of the return alternation that follows the alternation in which the pulse is transmitted to the spiral (5) linked to the bearing (7) secured to the end of the pivot of the escapement wheel (1). The escapement system is intended to be mounted in a timepiece movement.
