Abstract:
A shape/posture estimation device (50) is configured to comprise: a light intensity curve acquisition unit (54) which acquires, from a light intensity measurement device (10) for measuring light intensity of a moving body (1) to be monitored, a first light intensity curve representing a temporal change in light intensity; a captured image acquisition unit (55) which acquires an image of the moving body (1) captured by an imaging device (3) for imaging the moving body (1) from a flying object (2) mounting the imaging device (3); and a model generation unit (56) which uses the captured image of the moving body (1) acquired by the captured image acquisition unit (55) and characteristic data representing characteristics of objects likely existing in the outer space to generate a model of a moving body (1). Moreover, the shape/posture estimation device (50) comprises: a light intensity curve calculation unit (57) which simulates a temporal change in light intensity of the model of the moving body (1) generated by the model generation unit (56) when the model is irradiated with light from a illumination light source and outputs a second light intensity curve representing the temporal change in light intensity of the model; and a shape/posture estimation unit (58) which adjusts a shape and a posture of the model, respectively, on the basis of the first light intensity curve acquired by the light intensity curve acquisition unit (54) and the second light intensity curve output from the light intensity curve calculation unit (57) and estimates a shape and a posture of the moving body (1), respectively, from the model after the adjustment.
